Jim Hosey serves as the Safety Risk Management UPRT Working Group Team Lead for UPRTA, International.  Mr. Hosey is the CEO/President of Aviation Consulting/Auditing, LLC, and President, Co-Founder/Aviation Safety Compliance, LLC.   Expanding the expertise in providing safety-related services to all Parts of the FAA and the International operator community, he offers specialized safety services, safety consulting, Gap Analysis evaluation, and auditing in accordance with FAA and International SMS standards.

Jim conducts Business Aviation Safety Consortium (BASC) and Air Charter Safety Foundation (ACSF) preparation and auditing, crisis action and management plans, incident and accident investigations, technical support, creation and maintenance of confidential reporting systems, safety risk profile and safety performance indicator preparation and overall SMS reporting structures.   His extensive client list includes business/corporate flight operators and manufacturers, public utilities (gas and electric), OEM service centers, and the world’s largest oil company.

Jim has been retained by many of the fortune 500 flight departments in the US as an interim Safety Manager bridging the gap when departments have a void in personnel. Experienced in providing safety consultation, Gap Analysis, incident/accident investigations.
Provides training in best safety practices for business and corporate operations.

Jim has many awards with the US Air Force and Civilian Organizations and is an Air Transport Pilot with over 17,000 hours of control time in military transport and corporate aircraft with a worldwide impact.
